When a visitor to your site submits an RSVP form, signs up on the classmates page, enters a guest book entry or purchases a ticket on your class reunion website you will automatically receive an email with all the information that your guest supplied in the form. In addition, all this information is stored in the Control Panel so it can be reviewed at your convenience.
Do I need my own internet service provider or website hosting account?

If you wish to skip the Free Trial, and you are ready to purchase your MyEvent.com Website immediately, click on the "Order" link, and follow the simple instructions to setup your site, and pay securely.

Your Photos


How many photos can I post on my Website?
The standard package allows you to upload 150 large images in 5 photo albums, a large picture at the top of every page in the "page header", 60 small images per page on the "extra" pages next to each paragraph and 500 small pictures on the "classmates" page. The premium package allows you to upload all the pictures mentioned above and 1000 large photos in multiple photo albums.
How do I get my pictures on my Website?
The Control Panel has an easy to use tool which allows you to transfer your image files from your computer to your website.

If you do not have digitized images, you can scan regular photos or bring your photos to any Print shop and ask them to scan your photos onto a CD.
Can I update my photos at any time?
Yes. You can Add, Replace or Delete photos from your Slideshow or anywhere throughout the website at any time using the Control Panel.
What types of image files can be uploaded?
The following formats can be uploaded to your website: .jpg's (in photo albums), .gif's, .png's.

How will people find our class reunion Website?
There are several ways to inform people about your new class reunion website. You should tell people about the website and ask everyone to spread the word to others. You can use the "broadcast email" in the planning tools section of your control panel, and you can use the "tell a friend" feature on your home page. You should print your website address directly on all literature pertaining to the reunion especially the invitations. Ask your school to put a link to your class school reunion website on the high school website.
Can I have my own Domain name (www.myname.com)?
Myevent.com provides you with a domain name at no cost that looks like this: www.yourname.myevent.com. We can also supply you with your very own Domain Name that will look like this: www.yourname.com .

The fee to register your own Domain Name is $25 for one year, $49 for 3 years or $79 for 5 years. If you would like to order your own Domain Name, please click on the order button in your control panel.
What if I have already registered a Domain Name - Can I use that name with your website?

You can definitely keep your domain and point it to the website you create with our website builder. (This is assuming you do not use that domain for email purposes). Once you purchase your website you will ask the registrar who you bought the domain from to point your domain to our name servers.
